Dinosaurs With Lasers?

Dinosaurs With Lasers?

It's Finally Happened

My tablet finally gave up the ghost. I've tested it on other computers and it failed. I tested a mouse on mine and it worked. Ergo, my tablet is broken. Which means two things. One, I must send it back and get it fixed. It's under warranty, a lucky fact, so it's just a matter of shipping it off and getting it back in about a week.

Second, it means guest strips! I've asked some of my friends to contribute. This one is Tyler Mason, an action paleontologist, an all around capital chap. He is the mastermind behind Dinosaurs With Lasers, a series making its debut here.

Just a few things now, as I start school tomorrow, and I need my beauty sleep. This put a gigantic smile on my face. Do you think it should? Prior to this comic, I had no particular attachment to toilets. I occasionally attached myself to them, after a night of excess, shall we say? I too have worshiped at the universal altar, but it wasn't anything I did with any special interest, no particular enthusiasm. Now, I have trouble looking at one, even in the lowliest of stalls, without a little, personal chuckle. So, as you can imagine, something like that, the internet activated flush in some stranger's toilet, it's just brilliant. (Currently it's not working, but some day, and they say soon, it will work to my delight.) I fear someday, this might go to far. But for now, my platonic toilet fetish is coming along rather nicely.

Secondly, this piece by Keith Olbermann strikes me as summing up my feelings on the issue of the government and Katrina. I have plenty of other feelings about Katrina and the media, or Katrina and the survivors, or Katrina and the dead. But I'm glad someone in the media, other than Jon Stewart, came out and said something outraged.

In closing, no idea how long my tablet will be out of commission. If this goes on too long, I'll be doing them by hand, with a somewhat reduced quality, ah well. But soon, I hope, I'll be back and running.
