Death and Taxes

Sorry about the DeLay

I'm really enjoying writing this storyline. Belph hasn't been seen in five comics now, but that doesn't mean he hasn't been busy.

Recognize Nergal?

I've nearly perfected a very special project, that I'll post pictures of once it's done. It's for school, but it's also for you. Specifically you. You know who you are. (I'll give you a hint... it's everyone reading this. If you don't know who you are now, you might consider counselling.)

I've changed my mind on the Immigration Debate. It's more than just the average 'scandal to distract from scandal'. The GOP is desparate for an issue they can look good on this fall, to safeguard some of their power in Congress. Since they have lost credibility on 'values', on the war, on the budget, and on everything traditionally conservative outside of Christianity, and they've played that hand nearly out already. So a new issue to reel in the secular patriots (oxymoron, I know) was invented.

Like I said, illegal immigrants are an old issue. It's the new legislation that is the real issue, and it's a handy way to bring up the debate. Conservative pundits are saying some pretty racist things on the subject (that's not the worst of it, but O'Reilly is the highest profile crack pot). I wonder when they'll realize that they are alienating everyone who isn't white with this rhetoric. You know, those non-whites that are pushing whites out of the majority slot.

It's almost like they want to be disestablished. Subconscious karmic guilt?

I'm white and I'm proud of not being a fucking redneck bigot idiot.

I apologize to any rednecks that aren't bigots.

Does having a mullet protect your neck from sunburn?
