Late is Better than Never

So I've been having technical problems with my tablet, a distressing development leaving me mind bogglingly frustrated more often than not. It works fine for a period of time, sometimes hours, sometimes seconds (with no apparent pattern), then just gives up on me. I then plug it in to the other USB port, and work with it some more (for a shorter interval), until it crashes again. Repeat until the interval of functionality is no longer enough to flash a frame of animation. Then, I put it aside for ten minutes, plug it in again, discover it works, and repeat the whole process again, knowing in my heart that it will fail, but not knowing when. It's something like getting on a winning streak in Vegas. You know it will all come crashing down, and you're living on the adrenalin rush of success, clinging to the edge like a jumper with second thoughts. Suffice to say, this repeated malfunctioning inspires colorful use of profanity.

That is not the reason the comic is late this morning. The comic is late this morning because yesterday I left for work without my iBook's power cord. Which meant no power at work. Which meant 2 hours of battery power when using the tablet or playing Warcraft. I chose the latter. I can feel the game coursing through my veins, my heart pumping this filth about my weakened body, but I must fight it! I must update before noon!

John Roberts is a douche bag. At least in China they are finding uses for human waste.
