Partisan Hackery

Partisan Hackery

Brought About By The Presidential Address

I don't want anyone thinking that I'm a Republican. On the whole, I'm pretty sure the Republican platform is designed to dupe the middle class into thinking that they will benefit from any of the agenda, whereas the rich actually do, and the poor get screwed. On the other hand, I don't want anyone thinking I'm a Democrat, though I'm sure many do. The Democratic party makes socialist claims, but takes as much money from the lobbyists (or would if the lobbyists offered it to them, but as they have no power, they don't) and protects special interests just as much. None of them will tell you the truth about Iraq, the economy, the oil situation... The ones that come close invite such vitriolic attacks, they are remembered as madmen and crazies. I am politically agnostic. I believe there could be an honest and benevolent politician, I just have no evidence to work with.

In other news, in this age of zombie dogs and flesh eating aliens, it's nice to know that there are those in the world still willing to counter-screw a supreme court judge in the name of America's ravaged and weeping civil rights. They've taken our land, they are coming back for our women and moonshine.

Who remembers the night Jon Stewart destroyed the wretched sycophants on Crossfire, Tucker Carlson and Paul Begala? This was before the faux-election, back when there was hope to stop the run away train piloted by voting machines and the Monopoly Man. It was a day of percieved triumph, where rational and critical thought won out over sound-byte reasoning and blind conformity to the stark contrast. If you want to take a gander at the gilded past, the time of dreams, here's the transcript. If you use BitTorrent, here's the torrent to DL the video. If you haven't seen it, it's totally worth watching. Some theorize that this fiasco drove that show off the air.
