Sissy Fuss

Sissy Fuss

Little Latin, Less Greek

For those who have grown apart from the classics, Sisyphus is a clever chap who got his. Hades punished him for eternity by forcing him to roll a boulder up a hill, only to have it roll down again, and he has to roll it up again.

(I stole that image from the vastness of the internet... if you made it , tell me and I'll credit you)

It is also a nicknamed I earned for myself by way of Nora, a dangerously educated friend of mine. I earned it by calling her a Harpy over a game of Uno, where trashtalking is the only language. Sisyphus is widely regarded as the cleverest man ever to live, so this works for me. An accurate comparison.

I have been exposed recently to many takes on the bard Shakespeare, and I feel a strong desire to share these things you folks. Do yourself a favor. If you love Shakespeare, or even like him, do yourself a great courtesy and investigate these nuggets of excellence.

Last thing, I did a series of guest comics for my buddy Mookie that are going up this week at Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire. Check it out.
