The Price of Freedom

The Price of Freedom

Conspiracy to Conceal Mass Murder... OKAY!

That's right, kids. Murdering 15 innocent civilians is bad, but only if you get caught! At least, that seems to be the thinking in the marines circa November 05, in Haditha, a city in Iraq. If you haven't heard or read about the Haditha Massacre (TIME article here), you probably should. I mean, it's important to know what atrocities are being committed in the name of your nation, so that, should you ever travel abroad and someone accuses you of murder, you can guess why.

Rep. Murtha had some strong words about not condoning murder, and the generally poor job of the administration in handling this war and such. And when Murtha speaks, Bill O'Reilly tells him to shut up. Only Bill can't seem to get his acrimony straight. Bill O'Reilly, for the second time, claims that US soldiers massacred a bunch of surrendered SS soldiers. It's actually the other way around, but patriot Bill can't be bother to remember. With supporters like that, it's easy to see how Bush could be considered the worst president since 1945.
