Papers Come First

As the title of this blog entry suggests, I had a paper due, and that's (in part) why the comic is late. I went to bed early last night without finishing it due to feeling utterly wretched. Nothing wrong with me a good night's sleep couldn't fix it seems. Or does it? I feel like I have an illness just around the corner, poised and waiting to strike like some kind of man-mongoose red coat. He wants to impress you to arms against the rebellious patriot snakes!

Paper about how life was during the revolution for a Carolina slave, a Boston dockworker, a Salem merchant, and a Shawnee indian. It actually only took me an hour and a half to write it, once I felt human. I'm some kind of academic god. A Christ of Chalk. A Titan of Test Taking. A Buddha of the Blackboard. If only I didn't have these bouts of crippling indifference, I could get a PhD in being smart.

Funny news bits for anyone who missed 'em. Bill O'Reilly is batshit crazy. Now he's telling terrorists who to bomb? Awesome.

The 2004 election is relived in Ohio. I don't know if you buy any of this, but I maintain that Bush was elected by robots, not by humans. If robots are going to run this country, we should have seen this on that cold November day.

It seems that we used napalm and white phosphorus weapons in Iraq. Enjoy that video. It's a special one.

Oh, and on today's comic. The credit goes out to my roommate Mat. Send all your hate-mail his way. And I do stick out my tongue when I draw.
