An Exciting Development

What a week. I've been really busy, as I'm sure you all noticed (given my lack of anything interesting to say), but while my steely eye of judgement has been elsewhere, the world has gone to shit. Roberts was confirmed as the youngest Supreme Court Justice in 200 years, he's the Chief Justice, and he did it while withholding documents from congress. Tom DeLay was indicted and forced to step down as Majority Leader. Fantastic, except they replaced him with this douche, meaning we haven't actually improved the situation in congress. The only real progress will come if we make a habit of grinding these corrupt maggots into the dirt. Unlikely.

But in less agonizing news, they found a giant squid and not in some whale's stomach. Real, living giant squid. Twenty six feet long (though they are said to grow as big as fifty feet long). There are, in fact, sea monsters. And they want revenge for our casual consumption of calamari.

So that's why I finally gave center stage (or near it) to Mr. Squiddington, who has only been an extra until now. And of course, y'all remember Xaphan from his previous appearance.
