Is That Really His Name?

Is That Really His Name?

Fiftieth Comic!

Here it is! Hawaii 5-0. This is a milestone, a landmark, a line in the sand, something else associated with the ground. Seriously, to get personal for a moment, I'm not accustomed to accomplishment. Not self-motivated, anyway. I've done some things worth mentioning, but nothing grand. So the comic being what it is today, what that represents to me, it's something special. It's like suddenly discovering you know how to make a really killer cocktail. Or realizing you've made some really killer furniture. Or that you're really a killer. But enough talk! Have at you!

It's the return of DMN programming (the Diabolical Media Network). I'm seriously not even twisting the reality all that much. You watch the Factor, that's what you get. "I'm being really objective here when I say Cindy Sheehan is a liberal nut-job." (Not an actual quote.) It's not just on Fox, it's everywhere, Fox is just the most shameless about it. Nobody touches on the reality, that this president is the joke of the world, the joke or the doom. That tax payers are being fleeced for billions by corporations that don't even do what we're paying for. But they'll claim to be objective, claim to be fair and balanced.

But this is a time of celebration! I'm really into World of Warcraft now, but there's a rustic, rabid charm in Kingdom of Loathing. It's like Warcraft that got drunk at a pub, staggered into a dark ally, was raped by a 6 foot Alabaman amphibian, force inhaled chloroform, and woke up face to face with a stick figure ninja selling big macs.
