DIVISOR - Underruled

Ponderings on Finance

Ken Lay and Jeff Skilling were found guilty of fraud and conspiracy to make a fortune off the collapse of their company, the energy trading giant Enron. Of the millions that Lay stole from the employees of his company (money that was earmarked for pensions or something like that), look what he did with it. $600,000 to republican candidates across the board. Lay and Bush are very close. And they want us to believe there is no "culture of corruption".

Now compare politics and money today to this little scene of Mr. Rogers testifying before congress over the budget of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.

Ken Lay, donate your ill-gotten millions to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, and you'll have gone a long way toward earning my forgiveness. For the Enron thing. I'll never forgive you for 'President George W. Bush'.
