A Bit Over Eager

A Bit Over Eager

Site Unseen

So, to my immense frustration, I have both fixed one problem and identified another.

To, due to a problem propagating the DNS info for the site or some kind of technical garbage like that, half the world can't see belphegor.sanguinis.net. Because of the wisdom of my web-guy, I have managed to make sure that even if that doesn't work, www.belph.com does work. Only, the nav bar was designed for the old site, and so its links go to sanguinis.net rather than belph.com. Not all of the links on the site do this. The ones that rely on iStrip, the site app that manages much of the updating and such, work fine. So if some things work and some things don't... well, there you go.

So last week I went to Seattle, to visit my friends out there. We went wine tasting in Woodinville, we ate at all the good restaurants around, we had meals at two different breweries, we played Halo II, we goofed off, we partied, we laughed, we cried. All in all, it reaffirmed my belief that I will have to move to Seattle some time. It's a lovely town.

As far as politics, it's all old scandals today. There was a chance at something interesting, but they pussied out. Maybe it's tactical, maybe it's cowardice. I don't even know what a censure is supposed to do. It's just a criticism. I suppose they want one on the books. In case he's impeached? Or maybe it's just a way to say, "Hey, look at us! We're not pussies!" and then, "But we're too cowardly to rush into that statement." A bunch of lemmings with vertigo. Jumping off a cliff is better than standing there and vomiting.

I'm rambling. I have to study renaissance art history before sleeping. Boo.
