State of the Inferno part 2

State of the Inferno part 2

Challenges

So I'm thinking joining some kind of political drinking club, like Drinking Liberally. Mostly as an experiment. I want to see just how intolerably argumentative I can get. Alcohol always helps with that. That, and I have this romantic notion of some kind of underground socialist party dynamic where we drink, plot the fall of the government, and live the hedonist's life. Like they do in Frida.

I discovered an intriguing challenge to Bill O'Reilly. It seems his busy schedule of news analysis leaves him no time to go get first hand experience of the shit he analyzes. Who is surprised? So I say sponsor Bill's trip to Darfur and let him see the devastation he so comfortably manipulates, and see if he can be so cavalier. Like the guy lacks the money to make the trip himself. But, as money is the only language he doesn't argue with, a bribe it shall be.

This is an interesting project. An news station independant of advertisers and government sponsorship would be free to say a lot of things. It's likely they'll have a left slant as a result, but they seem to believe in unbiased journalism as the hallmark of a stable society, so perhaps they'll be self correcting. Who knows?
